At around 4:00 a.m. on November 28, on the Vinh City bypass, a truck with license plate 51C - 637.10 driven by Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc (residing in Phu Yen province) was traveling in the direction of Hanoi - Vinh.

When reaching Km 5+450, passing through hamlet 1, Nghi Van commune, Nghi Loc district, the truck suddenly collided with a tractor trailer with license plate 63C - 046.20 pulling a trailer 63R- 00045 driven by Mr. Nguyen Nhat Phuoc (residing in Kien Giang province) in the opposite direction.

At that moment, three trucks behind the two cars could not react in time and crashed into the two cars. One truck lost control, broke a series of traffic cones, and plunged into the rice field.

The strong collision caused the tractor trailer to crash into the guardrail, crushing the cabin. The truck was severely damaged, with debris scattered on the road.
