52 products participated in the Children's Youth Creativity Contest

On the morning of April 22, the Union of Science and Technology Associations in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Education and Training, and the Provincial Youth Union opened the Youth and Children's Creativity Competition for the 2016-2017 school year.

Since its launch, localities and schools in the area have actively responded and have had many creative topics and solutions of good quality.

After the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee selected 52/101 models and products for the final round. The products focus on the following areas: School supplies, computer software, environmentally friendly products, household appliances and children's toys, technical solutions to respond to climate change, protect the environment and develop the economy.

The evaluation of the contest products is based on 5 criteria: novelty, creativity, applicability, thinking and ability to present and apply in life.

The contest aims to awaken the potential and promote creative thinking of young people and children. At the same time, it helps them improve their knowledge and practice their creative skills.

According to the plan, the contest will be held in 1 day. The Organizing Committee is expected to award 1 special prize, 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 12 third prizes and 32 consolation prizes.

Outstanding products will be selected to participate in the National Youth and Children's Creativity Contest held in Hanoi in October 2017.
