Doan Thi Nga was the only candidate taking the History exam at the Thai Lao High School Board of Directors, Nghe An. However, Nga did not feel out of place and was confident that she would do well on the test.

At the examination council of Thai Lao High School, Hung Nguyen District (Nghe An), there was one candidate taking the History exam. That was Doan Thi Nga (registration number 130159, exam room number 1) - a student of class 12A4, Thai Lao High School.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Long, chairman of the Thai Lao High School examination council, said that the entire council has 59 people, including 37 exam supervisors, the rest are security guards, service staff, police and military forces.

After finishing Physics, everyone stayed to watch over History - even though the council only had one candidate taking the exam. “For the History exam room, we arranged 3 invigilators including Ms. Thom (invigilator 1), Mr. Su (invigilator 2) and Mr. Thanh (invigilator 3). Even though there was only one candidate, we still followed the principles and regulations of the 2014 high school graduation exam.

In addition, I also told the exam supervisors to encourage the candidates to be confident, avoid causing pressure or violating the exam regulations" - Mr. Long said. Doan Thi Nga is a good student in History at the school. Last school year, she represented the school in the History competition and won the provincial encouragement prize. Although she registered for the History exam alone, before the exam, Nga said she was very comfortable, did not feel lost and was confident that she would do well.

At the end of the History exam, candidate Nga left 20 minutes before the scheduled time. Nga appeared quite shy when many reporters approached her, she said she did quite well on the test. “The test had 3 questions and I was able to complete all 3. I am very confident with my work,” Nga shared.

Talking about her feelings about being the only one to register for the History graduation exam, Nga said she felt sad about the current state of studying this subject among her classmates. “I just hope that next year there will be more candidates taking the History exam,” Nga said.
