6,000 young men join the army

(Baonghean) In the first phase of 2013, Military Region 4 had 6,000 young men recruited for military service.

Of these, Thanh Hoa province assigned 2,400; Nghe An 1,650; Ha Tinh 550; Quang Binh, Quang Tri each 400 and Thua Thien Hue 600. The number with a high school education or higher is 50%. The new recruits were assigned to Division 324, Division 908, regiments, brigades, arms and local army battalions stationed in six provinces of the Military Region.

Before the military enlistment day, local Party committees, authorities, departments, and organizations in the military region visited and gave gifts to new recruits. Currently, responsible departments of Military Region 4 have directly gone to the localities to attend the military enlistment ceremony on February 25, while Quang Binh province will receive soldiers on February 26.
