6 SLNA players were called to the National U18 team
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to prepare for the Southeast Asian U18 Football Championship in August 2019, today (June 21), the Vietnam Football Federation summoned athletes for the Vietnam U18 team.
The 6 faces called this time include: Goalkeeper Nguyen Van Ba, Tran Quoc Thanh, Tran Manh Quynh, Nguyen Xuan Binh, Dang Quang Tu and Ho Khac Luong. These are the faces who played very well when they won the Bronze Medal with U19 SLNA at the 2019 National U19 Tournament and were previously called up when U18 Vietnam attended the International Friendly Tournament in Hong Kong.

In the last training session, Quang Tu and Manh Quynh were the players who played the most among the players called up and Tran Manh Quynh personally scored a goal for himself in the match against U19 China, helping U18 Vietnam win.
This year's U18 Southeast Asian Championship was held in Vietnam. The host team was drawn into a very difficult group consisting of defending champion U18 Malaysia and the two most successful teams in the tournament, U18 Thailand (5 times champion), U18 Australia (4 times champion) along with the two teams U18 Cambodia and U18 Singapore.
