6 Things to Do in the Morning for a Great Day
Waking up 30 minutes earlier every morning and doing these simple things will help you have a happier life.
1. Usually, as soon as the alarm clock rings in the morning, you start checking your phone to see the news from various applications. Even before you fully wake up, you are busy “surfing” Facebook and Instagram. Instead of wasting precious minutes of the new day like this, you should temporarily not check your phone for at least 1 hour after waking up.
2. Make it a habit to drink a glass of warm water on an empty stomach.
This will help in better digestion and keep your body hydrated. You can add a few drops of lemon juice to help flush out toxins.
3. Never skip breakfast and eat something before leaving the house. If you don't have much time, eat fruit or drink a glass of orange juice. For a quick breakfast, you can boil 2 eggs and add a bowl of oatmeal.
4. While waiting for breakfast to be ready, you can write down a list of tasks that need to be completed at the end of the day. This way, you will work more planned and effectively.
5. Mornings are the busiest time of the day. However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take 5 minutes each day to write down what you’re grateful for. You can keep a small notebook to record these activities and even jot them down while you’re commuting to work on the bus.
6. Never underestimate the power of music. It can instantly make you feel alert and energized. Plan ahead and make a playlist of upbeat songs that make you smile. Listen to music while you brush your teeth, eat breakfast, or commute to work.
