In the first 6 months of 2024, Nghe An tourism revenue reached nearly 6,260 billion VND
In the first 6 months of 2024, Nghe An welcomed nearly 5.5 million tourists, reaching 64% of the 2024 plan. Total revenue from tourists reached 16,195 billion VND, of which tourism revenue was 6,257 billion VND, reaching 70% of the 2024 plan.
In early 2024, Nghe An Tourism Department proactively advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue the industry's tourism development plan for 2024; actively cooperated and linked with localities and domestic tourism businesses to organize tourism stimulus activities and plan to welcome guests; at the same time, develop plans to survey and develop new products, organize training courses, etc.

Thanks to that, tourism in the first months of the year and especially during the Hung Kings' death anniversary, April 30 and May 1 holidays achieved positive results: The number of tourists increased rapidly, and basic tourism services met the increasing demand of the tourist market.
As a result, the number of tourists in the first 6 months of 2024 reached nearly 5.5 million, equal to 111% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 64% of the 2024 plan. Of which, the number of overnight guests reached more than 3.4 million, equal to 108% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 62% of the yearly plan; international visitors reached 48,200, equal to 148% compared to the same period in 2023.

Total revenue from tourists reached VND 16,195 billion, of which tourism revenue is estimated at VND 6,257 billion, equal to 141% over the same period in 2023, reaching 70% of the 2024 plan.
