Haaland receives first individual award of the season
The Premier League has named Erling Haaland as its Player of the Month for August. Man City have only played three games before the FIFA Days, but Haaland has already scored seven goals.
Among them, the Norwegian striker "fired" 2 consecutive hat-tricks against Ipswich Town and West Ham. Haaland also set a new record for the number of goals scored in the opening 3 matches of the Premier League.

Before round 4 of the Premier League, there were 18 teams that had not scored 7 goals like Erling Haaland. The only team to score more than 7 goals besides Man City was Liverpool (8 goals).
This is also the third time Erling Haaland has received the Premier League Player of the Month award. He received this honor in August 2022, April 2023 and most recently in August 2024.
The strikers chasing Erling Haaland on the top scorer chart are Ryan Mbeumo (Brentford - 3 goals), Luis Diaz (Liverpool - 3 goals), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool - 3 goals) and Noni Madueke (Chelsea - 3 goals). All 3 players above are 3 goals behind Haaland.
Coach Kiatisak does meaningful things for people in flooded areas in Vietnam
Most recently, Coach Kiatisuk Senamuang posted an article with the following content: "I would like to send my encouragement to my Vietnamese friends. I can help a small part, hope everyone is always safe. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to visit Hanoi in the future."
In addition to words of encouragement, Coach Kiatisuk also sent a total of 20 million VND to the fund of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Kiatisuk Senamuang’s actions are even more meaningful in the context that Thailand itself is also dealing with the effects of Typhoon Yagi (Storm No. 3). Several provinces, including Chiang Rai, have been deeply flooded. Many Thais have also lost their lives, and thousands of households are homeless.
Immediately after sharing, many Vietnamese football fans sent their thanks for the noble gesture of the Thai coach.
Coach Kiatisuk is one of the players/coaches who have been associated with Vietnamese football the longest. In May 2024, Coach Kiatisuk suddenly announced his resignation as Head Coach of Hanoi Police Club to return to Thailand after 5 months of taking over without bringing any achievements to the Capital team./.
