600 million, choose Mazda2 or Honda City?

Officially launched by Thaco in Da Nang on July 10 as a fully imported car from Thailand, Mazda2 2015 with both sedan and hatchback versions has stirred up the auto market, especially in the already hot B-class car segment which is now even hotter.

| Mazda2 makes segment B feverish |
The newly launched Mazda2 2015 in Vietnam is a completely new 4th generation, with overall dimensions of 4,320 x 1,695 x 1,470 mm (length x width x height) for the sedan version and 4,060 x 1,695 x 1,470 mm for the hatchback version, with a wheelbase of 2,570 mm, ground clearance of 143 mm and a turning radius of 4.7 meters.
The heart of the new Mazda2 is a 1.5-liter Skyactiv engine, with a maximum capacity of 109 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, maximum torque of 141 Nm at 4,000 rpm, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission and especially the i-Stop smart stop system.
Meanwhile, City 2016 has 9 notable new features: electric folding rearview mirrors; interior with push-button start, smart lock system with remote trunk opening button; steering wheel with integrated audio control buttons. The car has a new red color.

However, the more impressive highlight of the City 2015 is the addition of new safety systems such as the VSA electronic balance system and HSA hill start assist. These features help the City 2015 achieve the highest safety standard - 5 stars of ASEAN-NCAP. In particular, the selling price of the car is only 5 million VND higher for the CVT version, selling for 604 million VND, also giving this car model a strong appeal.
