7 young men and women using drugs in karaoke bar
Inside the karaoke bar with a closed sign, police discovered 5 men and 2 women swaying to dance music, testing positive for drugs.
Vung Tau City police inspected a karaoke bar on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street (Thang Tam Ward) in the early morning of March 31. Outside was a sign saying it was temporarily closed, but the 23-year-old female owner (from Long Dien District) and 7 men and women were gathered in the room, swaying to the sound of dance music.

No drugs were found at the scene, but 5 men and 2 women tested positive. The female owner of the bar did not react to drugs. They said they were employees, acquaintances of the bar, and used "ice" before entering the bar to listen to music.
From March 19, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau requested the closure of karaoke businesses, dance clubs... to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic. The province has not recorded any people testing positive for nCoV.
