7 F1 candidates of Nghe An are allowed to attend the 2021 High School Graduation Exam, Round 1

Previously, in the late afternoon of July 6, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do signed Official Dispatch No. 2783/BGDĐT-QLCL to localities regarding the organization of exams for students.CandidateF1, F2 of Covid-19 cases on July 7-8, 2021.
The implementation of this content is to respond to the request of some provinces/cities directly under the Central Government to organize exams for candidates in the F1 and F2 categories on July 7-8, 2021. However, the Ministry of Education and Training only agrees to this request when the locality meets the following conditions:
Candidates in F1 and F2 categories who wish to take the exam on July 7-8, 2021; Candidates must have the consent of the Provincial Examination Steering Committee.

In particular, the exam organization plan for these candidates must ensure safety in preventing and combating the Covid-19 epidemic according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health; at the same time, ensure safety, seriousness, and compliance with regulations.
During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties or problems, the Departments of Education and Training need to immediately report to the Ministry (through the Department of Quality Management) for timely support.
This timely information helped 7 candidates in the F1 category of Nghe An at the examination sites of Ethnic Minority High School No. 2, Dien Chau High School 5, Do Luong High School 3, Quy Hop High School 2, Quynh Luu High School 3 to participate in the 2021 High School Graduation Exam "at the last minute". On the evening of July 6, immediately after receiving this decision, the Department of Education and Training also promptly informed the examination sites, families and requested the examination sites to prepare the best conditions for the candidates to participate in the 2021 High School Graduation Exam on the morning of July 7.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training also said: After receiving the Ministry's dispatch, we also asked the candidates for their opinions "Do you agree to take the first round of the exam or not?". This was done quickly because on the morning of July 7, the candidates entered the first exam subject - Literature.
Through the situation, all F1 candidates in Nghe An are ready to take the first round of exams on July 7. According to information from the localities where F1 candidates are located, they all tested negative for SARS-CoV-2, have been quarantined for 21 days, and continue to quarantine at home as recommended by the Ministry of Health. Only 1 candidate in Vinh city has been quarantined for 1 week but the current test result is negative.

The Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training also said that to ensure safetyCovid-19 preventionThe Department has requested the Examination Steering Committees of districts and towns to use specialized vehicles to pick up and drop off F1 candidates at each exam session at a reasonable time to avoid contact with other candidates. In addition, organize rapid Covid-19 testing once a day for these candidates. The Department of Education and Training is responsible for paying all transportation and rapid Covid-19 testing costs for F1 candidates.
In addition, the testing sites will arrange separate testing rooms for F1 candidates in the backup testing room, encouraging their spirit and psychology so that they can take the test with peace of mind.
According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training, by the afternoon of July 6, Nghe An province had 7 F1 candidates and 63 F2 candidates. Of which, all F2 candidates had tested negative for Covid-19 and took the first round of exams as usual. F2 candidates were arranged in separate exam rooms, with a maximum of 12 candidates/room (50% reduction in the number of candidates in a regular exam room) to ensure social distancing according to regulations. With the new decision of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, all candidates who are F1 and F2 subjects of the province will take the first round of the 2021 high school graduation exam.
