77 candidates participated in the provincial competition for excellent Team Leader Teachers

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An; Nghe An Provincial Youth Union.

The contest was organized by the Department of Education and Training, with the aim of selecting, recognizing and honoring teachers who have achieved the title of Excellent Team Leader Teacher at the provincial level; thereby replicating advanced models, contributing to building a safe and healthy educational environment in schools; at the same time evaluating the results of implementing emulation movements in schools; encouraging, motivating and creating opportunities for Team Leader teachers to demonstrate their abilities, exchange experiences, learn and be creative in Team work and children's movements in schools.

The contest is one of the bases to evaluate the current status of teachers in charge of the Youth Union, from which to develop a training and fostering plan to improve professional qualifications and skills, meeting the requirements of educational innovation, innovation of the Youth Union work and the children's movement in the whole province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, comrade Nguyen Van Khoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training emphasized: In recent school years, in the field of Team work and children's movement, Nghe An has always been an outstanding leading unit, every year receiving Certificates of Merit and emulation flags from the Central Youth Union and the Central Youth Union Council. To achieve these results, there are efforts, dedication, passion and enthusiasm for the Team work and children's movement of the teachers and leaders of the Youth Union.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training hopes that this competition will witness the utmost efforts of teachers when performing creative and innovative performances. This is also a testament to the determination of the school and the industry in comprehensively developing the qualities and capacities of learners in the spirit of Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW of the Central Party Executive Committee on fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training, associated with the implementation of the 2018 General Education Program.

This year's contest has 80 teachers from 21 districts, cities and towns who have registered to participate. After reviewing the application documents and evaluating the experience and initiatives, 78/80 teachers are eligible to participate in the contest, the exam tests knowledge and skills. Currently, there are 77 teachers participating in the contest, 1 teacher cannot participate due to health reasons.

At the opening ceremony, the organizing committee announced the content and format of the contest. Accordingly, each participating teacher will go through 4 contents including: Report on experience and initiative; Knowledge and skills test; Practical skills and professional test and aptitude test.

The practical exam on skills and expertise has two parts: a mandatory exam and an optional exam.
