8 simple ways to treat a sore throat.
The changing seasons can easily cause sore throats and tonsillitis. The simple methods below will help you relieve sore throats effectively without being expensive or harmful to your health.
1. Rinse your mouth with salt water.
A simple way to relieve a sore throat is to gargle with salt water. Take warm water and add a little clean salt, then gargle for about 15 minutes. You will feel the difference after repeating this regularly throughout the day.
2. Chew on ginger with honey.
Ginger combined with honey is a great remedy for this condition. Crush the ginger, then take a spoonful of honey, mix it with the ginger, and suck on it. Then slowly swallow it; your throat will surely feel better.
3. Chew on licorice root.
4. Drink warm lemon water with honey.
