8 emergency warning lights on cars that drivers need to pay attention to
Warning lights are a sign that the vehicle is having a problem with a certain part, so drivers need to pay attention.
New car models today are equipped with many types of warning lights on the dashboard. Warning lights on cars often light up and emit sounds to remind users.
Below are some types of emergency warning lights on cars that drivers should note:
Battery warning light is on
Many experienced drivers often ignore the battery warning light. This light has a battery symbol with two symbols: negative (-) and positive (+). The battery warning light is on, indicating that the battery is starting to degrade or the battery cables are damaged, corroded, etc.
Oil pressure warning light

The oil pressure warning light on the dashboard has an oil tank symbol with a drop of water. When this light comes on, it means the engine is low on lubricating oil or the oil is no longer suitable. If the oil pressure warning light comes on, the user should change the engine oil.
Brake light
The brake warning light has a circular symbol with an exclamation mark (!). It will light up red if there is a problem with the brake system. If the driver forgets to release the parking brake, the brake warning light will also light up. If this light stays on all the time, it means there is a problem with the brake system, possibly due to low brake fluid or low brake pressure.
Engine warning light stays on
The car's engine warning light usually has an engine icon. When there is a problem with the engine-related system, the engine warning light turns yellow. The engine warning light can be illuminated due to a broken distributor, a broken spark plug, a broken air sensor, etc.
Airbag warning light
The airbag warning light is on, meaning that the car's airbag system is faulty or the car is stalled. The airbag warning light can also be on due to a problem with the sensor, a faulty airbag clock spring, or a faulty seat belt.
Tire pressure warning light

If one of the four tires loses pressure or is deflated due to a nail... the tire pressure warning light will come on. At that time, the driver should stop and check.
Fuel warning light
The fuel warning light illuminates when fuel is running low. At this point, the user needs to stop the vehicle and add more gas/oil.
ABS brake warning light
If the ABS anti-lock braking system fails, the ABS brake warning light will come on and will usually be yellow. The driver should then take the vehicle to a service center for inspection.
