8 Nghe An students are exempted from high school graduation exam and admitted directly to university
Students who are exempted from the exam and admitted directly to university are members who participated in the exam to select high school students for national teams to compete in international and regional Olympics in 2024. All are students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced that 139 students will be exempted from the high school graduation exam and will be admitted directly to university in 2024.
These are 12th graders selected for national teams to compete in international and regional Olympics in 2024.
Of which, 30 students took the Math exam; 30 students took the Physics exam; 27 students took the Biology exam; 27 students took the Informatics exam; 25 students took the Chemistry exam.
In this list, there are 8 students from Nghe An and all are students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. They are Hoang The Hieu - Math; Dang Bao Quan, Dang Duc Anh - Physics; Le Xuan Anh Quan, Nguyen Nguyen Hai, Cao Xuan Cuong - Chemistry; Tran Thi Ngoc Huyen, Le Thi Truc Lam - Biology.
According to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Departments of Education and Training are requested to exempt the 2024 high school graduation exam according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 36 of Consolidated Document No. 01/VBHN-BGDĐT dated April 22, 2024 of the Minister of Education and Training for candidates whose names are on the list.
For universities, academies, colleges and junior colleges, direct admission to universities and colleges in 2024 shall be conducted in accordance with Clause 2, Article 8 of the Regulations on university and college admissions for Preschool Education issued together with Circular No. 08/2022/TT-GDĐT dated June 6, 2022 of the Minister of Education and Training for candidates on the list.
