With 29 members who are experts, researchers, retired and current officials, the Advisory Council of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has the task of supporting the Fatherland Front at all levels in ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people through monitoring and criticizing difficult and inadequate issues at the grassroots level. Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee emphasized that in recent times, the social criticism work of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels has not been strong. One of the reasons for the above shortcomings is the lack of support from advisory boards, experts, and collaborators participating in monitoring, social criticism, and giving opinions on Party building and government building.

From that reality, the decision to establish the Advisory Council is expected to be the key to "resolving" the bottleneck in improving the capacity to carry out the work of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Therefore, the members of the Advisory Council need to put their activities into order, quality and work with their enthusiasm to promptly grasp the outstanding and urgent issues arising in practice.

He further stated that the work of supervision and criticism is difficult, involving many subjects and many fields, including sensitive fields, so the awareness and responsibility of those doing criticism work is very high. In the coming time, especially in 2020, the Advisory Council needs to seriously and effectively carry out the 8 tasks set out, bringing the activities into substance and comprehensiveness in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
