Among the deaths from the new coronavirus, there was one in Shanghai, 13 in Hubei province, where the outbreak began, and one in Henan province. The number of infected patients reached 2,510 worldwide.

In particular, the death from coronavirus of an 88-year-old man in Shanghai, one of China's most populous cities and a major commercial hub, has raised concerns about the disease's potential spread.

Dr. Ma, Director of China's National Health Commission, said the epidemic has entered a more serious and complicated stage and will even continue for a while.again.People who carry the virus but don’t show flu symptoms can still infect others. That would be a big difference between the new virus and SARS, a coronavirus that spread through China and around the world nearly two decades ago, killing 800 people.

Experts say the nCoV coronavirus strain most affects the elderly and those with a history of illness. Nearly half of the pneumonia patients who died in Wuhan were 80 or older, most of whom had pre-existing health problems.

Cho Ray Hospital has confirmed two cases positive for nCoV virus: Mr. Li Ding, born in 1954, and his son Li Zichao, born in 1992. The Chinese father and son infected each other with acute pneumonia, because the father came from Wuhan to Vietnam.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Health has announced two "hotline" phone numbers for information on acute pneumonia caused by the nCoV virus: 0989671115 and 0963851919. The Ministry recommends that people contact the Department of Preventive Medicine or the nearest medical facility if they suspect or have pneumonia.
