9 tips for cleaning dental plaque
Brushing alone isn't enough to remove stubborn plaque. Here's GMW's suggestion for clean, white teeth in just 5 minutes.
What is dental plaque?
Dental plaque, as we often talk about it, actually consists of components such as bacterial plaque on teeth, tartar, and debris. Dental plaque not only affects aesthetics but also causes gingivitis and other oral health problems. GMW suggests the following methods:
Strawberry
Ingredients: 1 strawberry, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
Method: Mash strawberries into a paste, mix with baking soda, use a soft toothbrush to evenly apply this mixture to the surface of your teeth, after 5 minutes brush off the mixture with toothpaste, then rinse your mouth.

The malic acid found in strawberries can remove stains from teeth, and when combined with baking soda, it creates a natural teeth-cleaning agent that can remove stains left by coffee, wine, and cola on the tooth surface.
This method should not be used too often, otherwise the malic acid in strawberries will damage tooth enamel; once a week is appropriate.
Vinegar
Ingredients: vinegar (either black or white vinegar will do, except for vinegar concentrate)
Method: Hold a spoonful of vinegar in your mouth for 1 to 3 minutes, then spit it out, and then brush your teeth.
This method is quite effective, but it can cause tooth sensitivity, so it should only be used about once every two months.
Brown sugar
Ingredients: Brown sugar, diluted salt water
Method: Take a moderate amount of brown sugar and place it in your mouth, holding it there for about 15 minutes so that all your teeth are immersed in the sugar syrup. Then, use a stiff toothbrush to brush back and forth for 2-3 minutes, followed by brushing with diluted salt water for 1-2 minutes. Do this twice a day, in the morning and evening.
This method is a bit more complicated and takes longer to perform, but doing it consistently for about a week will show a noticeable reduction in dental plaque.
Bone squid
Ingredients: Squid bones
Method: Grind the bones of a cuttlefish into a powder, then apply it to a toothbrush and use it like toothpaste; you will see immediate results.
Lemon

Ingredients: Fresh lemons
Method: Peel the lemon and squeeze out the juice. After brushing your teeth, use a cotton swab to apply the lemon juice to each tooth. Rub thoroughly, but don't use too much juice; 4-5 drops are sufficient. The principle is similar to using vinegar; it not only removes plaque but can also whiten teeth and freshen breath.
Yeast
Ingredients: Yeast
Method: When brushing your teeth, put a small amount of enamel on the toothbrush to help whiten your teeth.
Lost
Ingredients: Raw peanuts
Method: Chew raw peanuts into small pieces, then use those peanut pieces as toothpaste to brush your teeth; this will give you sparkling white teeth.
Orange peel
Ingredients: Dried tangerine peel
Method: Grind dried orange peel into powder, mix it with toothpaste and brush your teeth with it; your teeth will whiten very quickly.
Alum
Ingredients: Alum, ground into powder.
Method: After grinding alum into a powder, dip a toothbrush in a small amount of this powder and brush your teeth twice a day. This can remove yellow plaque from your teeth.
