Accordingly, the total registered capital of enterprises is 6,612 billion VND, an increase of 47.48% over the same period, an average of about 5.19 billion VND/enterprise.

Nghe An is the province with the largest number of enterprises among the 6 provinces in the North Central region. However, the production and business activities of enterprises still face many difficulties. In the first 9 months of 2017, 724 enterprises had tax codes.

According to the Department of Planning and Investment, as of September 15, the number of dissolved enterprises in September was 7, 5 more than the same period; the cumulative number of enterprises in the first 9 months of the year was 65, 10 more than the same period; the number of branches, representative offices, and business locations ceasing operations in September 2017 was 2, 1 more than the same period; the cumulative number of enterprises in the first 9 months of 2017 was 61, 27 more than the same period.

Previously, the results of the business review as of December 31, 2016 in the whole province had 12,786 businesses, of which 8,257 were operating (469 businesses were investing but had not yet started production and business), 235 businesses had temporarily stopped operating, 850 businesses had stopped operating and were waiting for dissolution or bankruptcy, and 534 businesses could not be found.
