9X carries one month old baby to her husband's house

The wedding day of Nguyen Ngoc Tram and her husband in Bac Giang was made more special with the presence of a newborn bridesmaid.

The bridesmaid, over a month old, wore a white, fluffy dress, her eyes sparkling, lying peacefully in the arms of her young mother who was drinking milk from a bottle. Looking at her little daughter, Ngoc Tram could not contain her emotions. The wedding of Tram and her husband on December 24th was even more special and happy with the participation of the young bridesmaid.

Ngoc Tram, 20 years old, is the youngest of four children in Luc Nam district. The girl in her twenties once told herself that she would marry a successful, romantic man. Tram also wished to have a cheesy proposal on the roof of the tallest building in Hanoi, go to Sapa to take wedding photos, then go to Da Lat for a honeymoon... In the end, fate brought Tram to a man her age, Nguyen Duc Tri, whose personality was completely opposite to her expectations.

Tri and Tram live in the same district but live 30 km apart. They have known each other since 9th grade when they went to the district school to study for the exam. Near Tet 2016, Tri became friends with Tram on his personal page because he happened to see her cute in a video. The two texted, found each other compatible, and fell in love. On New Year's Eve, Tram suddenly said "I like you" to Tri, and believed that confessing to the guy she liked at the right moment of the new year would get her married. The two became each other's other half from then on.

At that time, Tram and Tri were both studying in Hanoi. Seeing that their two children were inseparable, and afraid that they would go too far and do something foolish, the groom's family decided to go to the bride's house to propose. Not long after the meeting between the two families, Tram became pregnant. During the time Tram was pregnant, Tri took her to school and did all the housework; at night, he massaged his wife and told stories to his daughter.

Living far away from their family, Tram and her husband had to fend for themselves and take care of each other when they were sick. Tram still remembers the time Tri had a high fever that she couldn't find a way to bring down. She felt helpless and cried. Seeing his wife's tears, Tri also burst into tears.

At 34 weeks pregnant, Tram returned to Bac Giang to prepare for childbirth. Last June, both families held a wedding reception to choose a date and waited for Tram to have a safe delivery before holding the wedding. When baby Bong was one month and 13 days old, the expected wedding took place amidst the joy of Tram and Tri's relatives and friends.

Tram plans to go back to learning Chinese when her daughter is stronger.

A few days after getting married with her daughter, Tram still remembers every special moment. Tram bought her daughter a white dress to look beautiful with her mother on the big day.

"On the wedding day, my father came to pick up my mother, and a grandmother from my husband's family came to hold my child. When my husband introduced Bong to everyone, I didn't know why I cried like crazy. I prepared a bottle of milk for my child. On the way to the groom's house, the child slept for a while and then woke up to eat," Tram said.

The young mother burst into laughter when recalling a happy memory about her daughter. When the procession was almost at home, the little bridesmaid pooped, so her grandmother had to rush her into the room to change her and wash her up, but she didn't come out in time for the officiant's introduction. Tram had little milk, so her daughter was given extra formula. On days when her husband was busy studying in Hanoi, Tram and her daughter slept with her grandmother so that she could have someone to help prepare the formula at night.

During her pregnancy, Tram gained 21 kg and only lost 10 kg after giving birth. The wedding took place at the time when Tram felt she was "the ugliest", while her husband was at the peak of his "beauty".

"I felt so hurt that I texted my husband: 'I'll give you my child, you give me back my youth'. My husband just texted: 'I know you're working hard. Keep trying' and then changed the subject. On the wedding night, my father hugged my mother, my mother hugged my child, making all my resentment disappear," Tram said.

When talking about her husband of the same age, Tram sums it up in two words: "sincere". Not knowing how to buy gifts for his wife on special occasions, and being shy, Tri always cares and asks his wife where she wants to go and what she wants to eat.

"In society, he is very mature, but when it comes to his wife and children, he is like a child, spoiled beyond compare. On the wedding day, he whispered compliments: 'Miss Quy (makeup artist) does beautiful makeup', but otherwise he can't say anything romantic. But I love him for who he is, and I want to thank him for everything, even though sometimes he makes me sad," Tram confided.

Currently, Tram's husband is a third-year university student. On days when he is home, Tri helps his wife take care of their daughter. Many days, Tram's husband carries the child to another room to study and watch her at the same time. Tram used to study at college, but after a while, she dropped out to study Chinese. The young mother will wait until her child is 6 months old and strong enough to go to Hanoi to continue studying to take the certification exam.

"I don't know what will happen in the future, but if I could choose again, I would still choose my daughter's father," Tram said.
