Runner-up Vu Hoang My just celebrated her 37th birthday on November 13 in a simple and warm atmosphere with her family. On her personal page, she shared sweet moments with her husband and first daughter, Ayla. Although she publicly announced that she was married and had a child, the beauty still decided to keep her appearance and detailed information about her husband a secret.
Hoang My expressed that the presence of her husband and children is the most meaningful gift. She wrote: "Thank you, Papa and Ayla, for filling my heart with happy birthday moments." In the posted images, we can see the moment she was hugged by her husband. The beauty also happily showed off her birthday gift, a pair of high heels that suited her taste.
Secret love story with overseas Vietnamese partner
Hoang My and her partner were together for four years before welcoming their first daughter, Ayla, in April 2024. She first publicly dated her Vietnamese-American boyfriend in 2023. Although she did not reveal his identity, Hoang My said that her husband won her over with his kindness and patience, changing her mind about not getting married.
In a post in February 2024, she revealed about her partner's care: "He always wants me by his side, talking to the child every day. He also prepared all the good doctors, good hospitals for me, and hired a nanny. I am grateful that he is my spiritual support at this time."
Daughter Ayla and her first real estate gift
Hoang My’s daughter, Ayla, is often shared with her mother about her lovely daily moments. She has fair skin, chubby cheeks and big, round, black eyes. Despite her young age, Ayla has had an impressive travel journey, starting with a trip around the Mediterranean at 4 months old and exploring 7 countries with her parents when she was only 9 months old.
Recently, runner-up Hoang My also revealed that she bought a house in Ho Chi Minh City as a gift for her daughter. She shared: "This is the first house my mother has given me... With you, my mother has more motivation to try harder every day."
Vu Hoang My, born in 1988 in Dong Nai, became widely known when she won the title of 1st runner-up at the Miss Vietnam 2010 contest. After that, she represented the country at two major beauty pageants: Miss Universe 2011 and Miss World 2012.
