Runner-up Huyen My shows off intimate photos with Doan Van Hau
For a long time, the 2012 Miss Vietnam runner-up and the young Vietnamese player have had a close relationship. Huyen My did not hesitate to show her love and support for Van Hau personally.
Attending the 2018 Victory Cup award ceremony for outstanding athletes of Vietnamese sports in the past year, Huyen My and Doan Van Hau took a photo together. The runner-up also called the athlete "good boy" and praised him for being handsome.
While Huyen My attended as an award presenter in the Teammate of the Year category, Van Hau was nominated in the Young Athlete of the Year 2018 category.

However, Van Hau did not win, and the award went to 18-year-old swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang, who won the silver medal at the 2018 ASIAD. But Van Hau can still share in the success of the Vietnamese men's football team.

In addition, there were 2 individual awards: Male Athlete of the Year for Quang Hai, Foreign Expert of the Year for coach Park Hang Seo and Impressive Image of the Year for Duy Manh with the image of planting a flag on the white snow in Changzhou.

So, after the awards ceremony, runner-up Huyen My took a photo with her close friend Van Hau and posted it on Instagram. She wrote: "Again with the very good boy @doanvanhau_1904". Before that, Huyen My also showed off a photo of Van Hau looking elegant on TV with the compliment: "So handsome".
