Runner-up Thuy An wears 13 gold bars at her wedding

At the wedding, both families presented valuable gifts to the bride Thuy An and the groom. Thuy An's representative shared that the 2018 Miss Vietnam runner-up was given more than 13 taels of gold, including bracelets, earrings and gold necklaces.
"The groom's family gave Thuy An a set of gold bracelets. In addition, Thuy An's parents and relatives gave her many gold bracelets and necklaces," this person said.
After the wedding ceremony in Kien Giang, Thuy An and her boyfriend will have a party in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of January.
Thuy An (born in 1997) is the second runner-up of the Miss Vietnam 2018 contest. The 23-year-old beauty represented Vietnam at Miss Intercontinental 2019. She does not have the advantage of height (1.68 m), but has a balanced figure. Thuy An's three-round measurements are 85-60-89 cm.

Talking about her changes after two years of becoming Miss Vietnam runner-up, Thuy An expressed: "If I didn't participate in the beauty contest, I would feel less pressured and mature more slowly. However, in this environment, I meet talented and successful people and learn many things."
Thuy An and her boyfriend spent more than 3 years together before deciding to get married. The runner-up's other half is 10 years older than her and has lived and worked in England for 12 years. Thuy An's husband is currently in Vietnam, taking over the family business.
