Runner-up Thuy Dung tries on costume for Miss International contest

After the press conference announcing her status as Vietnam’s representative at the Miss International 2017 pageant in late August, Thuy Dung and her team continued to prepare her for the prestigious beauty pageant. Recently, the 2016 runner-up of Miss Vietnam had a costume fitting session at the showroom of designer Le Thanh Hoa.

The beauty born in 1996 shows off her attractive beauty when wearing many outfits with diverse shapes, materials, and colors.

Each dress model was edited by designer Le Thanh Hoa to fit Thuy Dung's measurements of 84 - 60 - 90 and her height of 1.72 m.

The elegant black pencil skirt becomes more unique and sexy when cut moderately and meticulously beaded.

Thuy Dung shared: "I want to bring the image of a dynamic, modern but elegant Vietnamese woman to Miss International 2017. I hope this style will be enough to impress the judges and make the Vietnamese audience feel excited."

Designer Le Thanh Hoa also said that he understands the nature of this playground, so the designs all have a luxurious and moderately sexy spirit to show off the curves and body of a girl in her twenties. The colors will also be elegant to match Thuy Dung's skin tone.

Currently, Thuy Dung is still in the process of practicing important skills for the contest such as catwalk, behavior... The beauty received support from Miss Nguyen Thi Loan - National Director of Miss International Vietnam - on the above important skills. At the same time, Thuy Dung actively practices communication and behavior skills in English. She has the advantage of fluent English with a TOEIC score of 900/990 and is currently studying at the Foreign Trade University in Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, the runner-up will confidently use this language in the behavior competition to convey the best message to the judges and the audience.

Miss International 2017 will take place in Tokyo, Japan from the end of October this year. The final night will be held on November 14. It is expected that there will be more than 70 candidates competing for the highest position. Thuy Dung plans to arrive in Japan about 2 days early to adapt to the weather and have the best preparation for the contest.
