Runner-up of Block A in the province shares dream of becoming a Computer Engineer
(Baonghean.vn) - With a total score of 29.35 points in 3 subjects, Nguyen Van Dang became the province's runner-up and ranked in the top 15 candidates with the highest scores nationwide. This is not only a joy for Dang's family but also a pride for the school in a mountainous district of Nghe An province.

In the 2022 National High School Exam, Nguyen Van Dang (born in 2004) registered for block A and scored 29.35 points (specifically: Math 9.60; Physics 9.75 and Chemistry 10). With this score, Dang became the second runner-up in the province (second only to candidate Nguyen Tran Nam Khanh, Nam Dan 1 High School) and ranked in the top 15 candidates with the highest scores.nationwide
“When they found out I got high scores, many people asked me about my study secrets. I really don’t have any secrets, I just focus on listening to the teachers to absorb knowledge and skills. When I go home, I spend time reviewing and doing exercises to remember all the knowledge, so I can pass the exams easily,” Dang said.

According to Dang, as long as you combine studying in class and studying at home smoothly, everything will always go smoothly. Of course, in class, you have to concentrate highly to grasp the amount of knowledge systematically. Thanks to that, studying at home will become leisurely, you only need to spend 1-2 hours studying at home.
This was also confirmed by Mr. Nguyen Van Hai, Dang's father: "At home, Dang usually only spends about 1 hour on work."self-study, the rest is entertainment and physical exercise. Knowing that Dang is always self-disciplined and studies with a plan, his parents never pressure him but let him always be mentally comfortable.

Nguyen Van Dang was born and raised in a family with both parents being teachers, his older sister was also a high-achieving student, and is currently a third-year student at Hanoi University of Pharmacy. Since childhood, Dang has shown intelligence, studied well and always led the class in academic achievements.
In particular, at the Provincial Excellent Student Exam in grade 9, Nguyen Van Dang wasvaledictoriantwo subjects Physics and Math. In the Provincial Excellent Student Exam for Grade 12, Dang continued to win First Prize in both Math and Physics, in which he was the Top Scholar in Math and the Second Prize in Physics.
In grade 10, Dang passed the entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, but he decided to study in his hometown because Anh Son 1 High School had many students with high scores in the exams. That gave Dang and his parents confidence when making their choice.

With a passion for discovery and creativity, since childhood Nguyen Van Dang has dreamed of becoming a student majoring in Computer Science at the University ofPolytechnic UniversityHanoi. This year, this major does not consider the national high school exam scores but organizes a test to evaluate the thinking ability of candidates. That is, even though Dang has a high exam score, he still has to take a thinking ability test to become a student of Computer Science.
Nguyen Van Dang participated in the K01 Subject Group assessment with the following results: Math 14.6/15; Reading comprehension 3.67/5; Natural Science 8.22/10; achieving a total score of 26.49/30. With this result, Dang was in the top 10 candidates with high scores in the thinking ability assessment for admission to the Science major.computerorganized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology. This also means that the district school boy has touched his burning dream.
