I'm a bit skinny and want to improve my figure.
Ngoc Lam confided that she rarely goes swimming, so the profile photo shoot at Miss Vietnam 2018 was the first time she wore a two-piece swimsuit and posed in front of the camera.

"I was very nervous, but I had to put that feeling aside, learn to feel comfortable with my body and trust the support team to be able to complete the shoot. During the final night, I tried not to think too much, just relax and try my best. I was very happy to receive compliments from my friends."
With experience as a photo model since her second year of university, Ngoc Lam is most confident in her performance skills and stage presence. What she wants to improve the most is her body measurements (height 1.68 m, three-round measurements 79-61-86), because many people commented that her figure is a bit skinny. In the near future, Ngoc Lam will try to change her diet and exercise more.
"I have been a photo model since my second year but have not attended any professional modeling training classes. All the experiences I have had to be self-taught, such as posing skills, recognizing beautiful facial angles, and being confident in front of the camera, and this helps me shine more in activities related to photography and filming," the runner-up of the press confided.
When asked about his intention to pursue a long-term modeling career, Ngoc Lam said: "Photo modeling is simply a part-time job, helping me earn more income to cover my living expenses and gain more experience. In the long term, I have dreams that need to be invested in and learned seriously."

Admiring Miss Vietnam Nguyen Thi Huyen
Tran Ngoc Lam confided that no one in her family works in the entertainment industry, but she still received enthusiastic support from her relatives and friends when she registered to participate in the beauty pageant. For her, competing in Miss Vietnam has been her childhood dream and it has grown bigger every day. A childhood memory that she will always remember is the promise to buy her grandmother a new hat if she participated in the beauty pageant.
"Lam competed alone, without family or support team, so I prepared most of the costumes and shoes for the accompanying activities myself. I was not too worried about this part, because the organizers supported the contestants very enthusiastically" - the runner-up in journalism explained.
Regarding the opinion that young girls aspire to compete in beauty pageants to change their lives and marry rich men, Ngoc Lam expressed her opinion: "I think that participating in beauty pageants to change their lives and find rich men is not unheard of. However, that is only the thinking of a small group, not the goal for all young people. As a female journalism student, I always aim for and promote the image of a dynamic, confident, and independent woman."
