Runner-up Thuy Duong competes in Miss Global Identity 2017

The Department of Performing Arts has officially signed a license allowing runner-up Truong Thai Thuy Duong to represent Vietnam in the Miss Global Identity 2017 pageant in the Republic of South Africa.

The Miss Heritage 2017 pageant will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa, the capital of Gauteng province, the richest province in South Africa and the 4th largest economy in sub-Saharan Africa.

The national ao dai with the theme of Thang Long Bronze Drum was brought by Thuy Duong to Miss Global Identity 2017.

The contest began welcoming and gathering contestants and took place in Johannesburg, South Africa from February 8 to 18. This year, Miss Global Identity 2017 has nearly 60 contestants from many countries participating in the contest.

Miss Heritage 2017 aims to find a beautiful face to represent activities to preserve and promote the values ​​of world cultural heritage.

Thuy Duong was crowned Miss Central Vietnam 2016.

Truong Thai Thuy Duong was crowned 2nd runner-up of the Miss Central Vietnam 2016 contest. She was born in 1995, a student from Binh Dinh. She is 1.71 m tall, with measurements of 83-61-91.

Participating in the contest, Truong Thai Thuy Duong was supported by Designer Tuan Hai with a national ao dai costume with the theme "Thang Long Bronze Drum". With the Bronze Drum motif, the designer wanted to use Truong Thai Thuy Duong's image to introduce and spread the culture and civilization of the ancient Vietnamese people with the pride of being the descendants of the Dragon and Fairy of the Vietnamese people.
