A320: Results from day 2 of the search
(Baonghean.vn) - There is no longer any hope of finding survivors. All rescue efforts are now focused on searching for the bodies of the unfortunate passengers as well as locating the second black box of the Germanwings A320 aircraft.

On Wednesday, March 25th, the Bureau of Investigation and Analysis (BEA) announced that information extracted from the black box found on March 24th is usable. Although investigators cannot yet provide a definitive answer regarding the cause of the accident, the BEA believes results will be available within the next few weeks. Currently, investigators are still searching for a second black box at the crash site.
Upon arriving at the accident site, police and rescue teams began searching for bodies. Families of the victims also provided identifying characteristics and DNA samples to help police determine the identities of the victims. Also on March 25th, many families of those who died in the accident visited the memorial for the victims of the A320 flight located in Digne village, the village closest to the accident site.
To date, authorities have identified most of the victims' nationalities. There are at least 51 Spaniards, 72 Germans, 3 Britons, and 3 Americans among the 18 nationalities of the passengers on board the flight. The 18 countries whose citizens were on the ill-fated flight are: Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Venezuela, Australia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Israel, and Morocco.
