Abramovich and Zhukova split by mutual consent. |
Dasha Zhukova, 15 years younger than Abramovich, is the third wife of the Chelsea FC owner. She is the daughter of a Russian oil and banking tycoon.
The two were first spotted together in public in 2005. At that time, Abramovich had not yet divorced his second wife, Irina Vyacheslavovna Malandina. It was not until 2008, when he was single, that Abramovich secretly married the younger beauty. After nearly 10 years of living together, the two have two children, Aaron Alexander and Leah Lou, both born in the US.
Ms Zhukova is an art lover. Abramovich's third wife is on the board of directors of the Metropolitan Museum (USA). Collecting works of art is a common hobby of Abramovich and his ex-wife. They are co-founders of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow and the New Holland Island cultural center in Saint Petersburg.
Ms. Zhukova used to own her own fashion label, Kova & T.

After the divorce, it is likely that the scene of Abramovich and Zhukova happily watching football in the VIP stands of Chelsea's home stadium will no longer exist. |
Mr Abramovich married his first wife, Olga Yurevna Lysova, in 1987 but divorced her three years later. He remarried in 1991 and had five children with Malandina, an air hostess. When they divorced for the second time in 2007, Abramovich was said to have lost more than $1 billion to his wife.
It is still unclear how much money Abramovich will have to give Zhukova after the latest divorce.
