Egypt: President Morsi's approval rating rises to 63%.
According to the results of a public opinion poll conducted by the Egyptian Public Opinion Research Center (Baseera), President Mohamed Morsi's approval rating has risen to 63% after six months in office.

The state news agency MENA quoted Maged Othman, director of Baseera, as saying that 40% of respondents "supported" and 23% "strongly supported" President Morsi's performance. Half of those surveyed said they would vote for Morsi, while 32% said they would not vote for him and the remaining 18% said their decision would depend on other presidential candidates.
A month ago, President Morsi's approval rating plummeted from 78% after his first 100 days in office to just 57%.
This public opinion poll was conducted by telephone on December 26-27 nationwide with 1,833 participants over the age of 18.
