Warming hearts with free meals to support students during exam season

Entering the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2022-2023 school year, Nghe An youth have established 121 volunteer teams to support the exam season, each team has 25-30 members and youths performing different tasks. Before the exam took place, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and grassroots youth union chapters directed volunteer teams to promptly check candidates with special circumstances such as disabilities, orphans, and those in difficult circumstances who had no relatives to pick them up on exam days to organize activities to distribute free meals and support accommodation for candidates and their families. Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union - Thai Minh Sy said that in order to provide maximum support to candidates, the activity of providing free meals and free accommodation was implemented synchronously at Youth Union bases across the province in association with the needs of candidates. In particular, prominent units such as Thanh Chuong, Ky Son, Quy Hop... directed the Youth Volunteer Teams to cook and serve thousands of free meals and drinks to candidates with difficult circumstances and living far away to encourage them to do well in the next subjects. It is known that in the remote district of Ky Son, volunteer teams have prepared more than 600 free meals for students, most of whom are ethnic minority children in difficult circumstances.
