Amorim creates a "galaxy" for MU from these 3 stars

New manager Ruben Amorim is demanding Manchester United spend £166m to sign three top stars in the January transfer window.

Amorim muốn có 3 tân binh gồm (trái sang) Dibling, Araujo và Osimhen

Ruben Amorim took over at Manchester United after Erik ten Hag was sacked last month. Despite high expectations, the Portuguese manager's start to life at Old Trafford has been rocky. After a stunning win over Manchester City, the team has slumped in recent weeks with disappointing defeats to Tottenham in the League Cup and Bournemouth at home.

This has left Manchester United in 13th place in the Premier League – the first time in the history of the competition that the team has entered Christmas in the bottom half of the table. The current squad that Amorim inherited from his predecessor Erik ten Hag has not shown consistency and efficiency, which has prompted him to look for new contracts to quickly change the situation.

According to a report from El Nacional, Ruben Amorim has listed three transfer targets that he believes will help rebuild MU. The first is Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker currently playing for Galatasaray on loan from Napoli. With a 75 million euro buyout clause, Osimhen promises to bring an effective solution to the team's attack - an area that lacks stability when Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford have not reached their peak form.

Secondly, Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo is a notable option for the defence. With his solidity and experience, Araujo is expected to strengthen the Red Devils’ weak defence. Finally, Tyler Dibling, a promising young midfielder from Southampton, is an addition to increase creativity and innovation in the midfield.

The total cost of completing all three contracts is estimated to be up to 166 million pounds. This is a large number in the context that Manchester United still face financial pressure from previous investments. However, Ruben Amorim believes this is a necessary step for the team to be more competitive in the second half of the season.

The big question now is whether the Manchester United board will back the new manager with such a large transfer budget. With the January transfer window approaching, the time for important decisions is getting shorter and shorter.

Ruben Amorim is betting big on this plan to salvage a forgettable season for the Red Devils. If the transfer targets fail to materialize, United risk continuing to slide down the rankings and face a year full of instability. On the contrary, with quality recruits, this could be the turning point for the team to regain its inherent position in English football.
