India: Military aircraft collide, 6 dead.
A mid-air collision between two Indian Air Force aircraft occurred today, August 30th, in the western state of Gujarat, resulting in six fatalities.

An unnamed Indian official said the accident occurred at 12:30 p.m. (local time), just minutes after two MI-17 helicopters took off from an air base near Sarmat village, Jamnagar district, to participate in a training exercise.
All six members on board the two aircraft, including the two pilots, perished.
Local television stations reported that immediately after the collision, three fire trucks were dispatched to the scene, but fortunately, there were no casualties on the ground.
Currently, Indian authorities are investigating to determine the cause of this incident, while the Indian Air Force has not yet confirmed the total number of fatalities.
