India-Pakistan continuously exchange fierce fire, tensions escalate

Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged heavy fire on March 5 at each other's targets along the Line of Control (LoC) that divides the disputed Kashmir region, Indian officials said.
The two sides exchanged gunfire in the Poonch area, about 180 km southwest of Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
According to Indian officials, no one has been killed in minor clashes on either the Indian or Pakistani sides.
Earlier in the day, such a gunfight was said to have taken place in Nowshera area of Rajouri district.
Over the past week, minor clashes have occurred continuously along the Line of Control, causing casualties on both sides./.
