Heartbreaking murder of 72-year-old man stabbing his nephew to death
On the afternoon of March 22, the Hanoi Court brought Mr. Duong Van Duc (born in 1945) and his son Duong Van Dao (born in 1975), both residing in Ba Vi district, Hanoi, to trial for murder. The victim in this case is Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung (born in 1970), the nephew of Mr. Duong Van Duc.
There is a conflict between Mr. Hung's family and Mr. Duc's family over land.

On the evening of December 21, 2015, Mr. Hung stood in front of his uncle's house, urinated and cursed at random. As a result, a fight broke out between the two sides, but was stopped by everyone. Not stopping there, Mr. Hung continued to show his anger by standing at the fence between the two houses and cursing.
Angry, old man Duong Van Duc ran out with a bamboo stick and an iron skewer attached. The two sides started arguing. Hearing the noise, Dao ran out to support his father. The climax of the conflict was when the old man stabbed his nephew in the chest with a bamboo stick and an iron skewer. Dao also rushed over and stabbed him in the chest with a stick. The strong stab caused Hung to collapse on the spot.
Immediately afterwards, Mr. Hung was taken to the emergency room by his relatives, but due to the severity of his injuries, he died shortly thereafter. On February 22, 2015, Mr. Duong Van Duc and his son were arrested.
For the crime charged, defendant Duong Van Duc was sentenced to 13 years in prison. Defendant Duong Van Dao received a sentence of 12 years in prison. In this case, the prosecution agency determined that part of the fault belonged to the victim./.
