A student died after eating poison ivy by mistake.
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 24, Mr. Lu Trung Thanh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Nhoong commune, Que Phong district, said that in this commune, there had just been a case of mistakenly eating poison ivy, leading to death.
On September 23, VTTH (born 2008), residing in Na village, Nam Nhoong commune, Que Phong district, and his mother went to the family's field. Here, H. had a stomachache so he picked guava leaves to eat to relieve the stomachache.

However, the child was severely poisoned and was quickly taken to Nam Nhoong Commune Health Station for emergency treatment by his family, but died at 1 a.m. on September 24.
The cause was determined, possibly H. while picking guava leaves mistakenly picked aconite leaves to eat, leading to the unfortunate incident mentioned above.
