Impressed with Nghe An's industrial production index in the first 6 months of the year
(Baonghean.vn) - The average industrial production growth index in the first 6 months of 2017 in Nghe An increased by 8.37% compared to the same period last year. This is a positive signal from many efforts to attract investment, urging projects to speed up construction and soon come into operation.

In the first 6 months of 2017, along with factories stabilizing production, a number of large factories in Nghe An came into operation such as: Hoa Sen Dong Hoi Steel Sheet Factory, which exported 12,000 tons of steel sheets to Europe; Song Lam Cement Factory sold bulk cement and received bags at Nghi Thiet Cement Grinding Station, Vinatex Hoang Mai Garment Factory... which brought the industrial production index in the area to increase sharply.
According to a report from the Department of Planning and Investment, the average industrial production development index in the first 6 months of 2017 in Nghe An increased by 8.37% over the same period, of which: mining industry increased by 10.19%; processing and manufacturing industry increased by 7.77%; electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning production and distribution industry increased by 18.25%; water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment activities increased by 14.03% over the same period last year.
Some industrial products have increased compared to the same period in 2016 such as: commercial electricity (1,649 million kvvh, up 29.43%), cement (1,230.37 thousand tons, up 16.63%), alloy steel (31.01 thousand tons, up 39.19%), knitted clothes (7,558 thousand pieces, up 16.33%), Tien Phong plastic pipes (9,434 tons, up 26.31%), construction stone (1,749.4 thousand m3, up 16.54%), fresh milk (83.31 million liters, up 8.85%)...
