For those who frequently urinate at night, especially in cold weather when the frequency increases, they can use one pig bladder, 3 grams of cinnamon, and 30 grams of Chinese yam.
Preparation method: Clean the pig's bladder, crush the cinnamon and yam seeds, then steam them together until tender. Season to taste. This dish is best served hot and has the effect of tonifying yang and dispelling cold, suitable for people with kidney yang deficiency causing frequent urination.
Alternatively, you can use 100 grams of good quality rice, 2 grams of cinnamon, and a sufficient amount of sugar. Preparation: Boil the cinnamon to extract the juice, discard the pulp, add enough water to cook the rice with the aforementioned amount of rice until it becomes a thin porridge, and add a little sugar. Consume this porridge in the morning while it is still warm. This dish is suitable for cases of kidney yang deficiency, frequent urination, cold stomach, and digestive disorders during cold weather.
For those who often cough due to cold weather, a remedy using rock sugar boiled with tangerine peel (or kumquat peel) can be helpful. Here's how: take 20 grams of tangerine peel and 100 grams of rock sugar, boil them in 1.5 liters of water over low heat until cooked through. This remedy is very effective for treating coughs.
For those who suffer from dry lips in cold weather, you can try this method: take equal amounts of carrots and water chestnuts (about 50 grams), along with 15 grams of apricot kernels, 5 dates, and a little orange peel, and cook them together until soft.

To nourish and warm the body, use a cleaned black chicken along with the following herbs: 8 grams of astragalus root, 12 grams of codonopsis root, 6 grams of angelica root, 8 grams of goji berries, 12 grams of rehmannia root, 8 grams of yam, 12 grams of euryale ferox seeds, 4 grams of longan fruit, and a few slices of fresh ginger. Place the chicken and herbs (already washed) in a pot with enough boiled water to cover them and steam until tender. Serve while still warm.
To nourish and warm the body, you can also use a moderate amount (depending on the person) of cleaned pig's stomach and stew it with white radish, spinach, and green peppers, seasoning to taste.
For breakfast, you can have a warm and light porridge: take some white rice and cook it into a thin porridge with some fresh ginger (sliced), eat it while it's still warm.
