Britain threatens Russia with 'high price' for using chemical weapons
Speaking at the Conservative Party Conference, British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt strongly said that Russia must pay a "high price" in the event of using chemical weapons.

"The British Conservative government has a message for the Kremlin: If you try to threaten this country, if you use chemical weapons and you don't abide by international rules, then your country will pay a very high price," Mr Hunt said.
Previously, in March 2018, former GRU officer Sergey Skripal and his daughter Julia were poisoned in Salisbury. This incident caused a major international scandal. London accused Russia of being involved in this incident. Moscow denied this accusation and has repeatedly proposed a joint investigation.
