Mr. Le Quoc Phong re-elected as First Secretary of the Central Youth Union
On the afternoon of December 12, at the first meeting of the Central Committee of the 11th Youth Union, Mr. Le Quoc Phong was re-elected as First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union for the 2017-2022 term. Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Mr. Bui Quang Huy, and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong were also re-elected as Secretaries of the Central Committee of the 11th Youth Union for the 2017-2022 term.

Within the framework of the 11th National Congress of the Youth Union, on the afternoon of December 12, the Congress announced the list of 151 delegates elected to the 11th Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union for the 2017-2022 term.

At the first meeting of the Central Committee of the 11th Youth Union, which took place in the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Le Quoc Phong was re-elected as First Secretary of the Central Committee of the 11th Youth Union for the 2017-2022 term. Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Bui Quang Huy, and Nguyen Ngoc Luong were also re-elected as Secretaries of the Central Committee of the 11th Youth Union for the 2017-2022 term.
The conference also elected 31 members of the Standing Committee of the 11th Central Youth Union, term 2017 - 2022.
On the morning of December 12, in the list announced and approved by the Congress for election, there were only 4 members of the Secretariat of the 10th Central Committee of the Youth Union, including: Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association Le Quoc Phong; Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union Nguyen Anh Tuan; Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union Bui Quang Huy and Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union Nguyen Ngoc Luong. Three other members of the Central Secretariat of the 10th term of the Youth Union were not on the list of candidates for the Central Executive Committee of the 11th term of the Youth Union, including: Standing Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Manh Dung; Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Phi Long; Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers Nguyen Long Hai. Of which, Standing Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Manh Dung was transferred to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee. |
