The two leaders also exchanged views on the reform process in the security sector and the role of the Myanmar Police Force (MPF), the completion of a public-centered law enforcement approach, and the improvement of the police force to meet international standards.
Meanwhile, as part of the Myanmar-European Union (EU) cooperation, the EU will also assist the MPF in fostering police-public relations under the EU-funded Community Security and Order Maintenance project.
