Mr. Son: 1.1 billion VND awarded to outstanding collectives, teachers, and students at all levels.
(Baonghean.vn) -On August 22nd, the People's Committee of Anh Son district held a ceremony to summarize the 2012-2013 school year, implement tasks for the 2013-2014 school year, and award prizes to outstanding collectives, teachers, and students.
In the 2012-2013 academic year, the Education and Training Department of Anh Son District continued to improve the quality and effectiveness of educational activities; implemented the campaign to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh; and creatively and effectively deployed the emulation movement to build friendly schools, active students, and for each teacher to be a moral example of self-learning and creativity.
During the past academic year, Anh Son District was recognized by the Department of Education and Training for 46 provincial-level initiatives, 2 schools achieved national standards; 2 individuals were awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal, 5 teachers received commendations from the Prime Minister, and 4 individuals received commendations from the Ministry of Education and Training. In addition, 23 students achieved high scores in the university entrance exam, 13 teachers had achievements in training students for national-level competitions, and 5 students won first prize in the provincial-level student excellence competition.
In the 2013-2014 school year, the Education and Training Department of Anh Son District strived to have 5% of schools achieve the "Leading Flag" award, 12% of schools achieve the "Excellent" award at the provincial level, 4 collectives and 4 individuals receive commendations from the Prime Minister, 2 individuals receive labor medals of various grades, and the department achieves outstanding progress.

The District Party Secretary presented the Third-Class Labor Medal to two officials.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Anh Son district allocated 1.1 billion VND from the education budget to award prizes to outstanding collectives, officials, teachers, and students at all levels, as well as students who achieved high scores in university entrance exams.
