Brother sentenced to death for heroin, younger brother 'dipped' in synthetic drugs

On October 7, 2021, Ky Son District Police said that the unit and the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police, co-chaired, had just broken up a case, arresting a subject transporting 2,000 synthetic drug pills. Accordingly, through information provided by the people, by professional measures, at 7:30 p.m. on October 5, 2021, at Khe Tang village, Chieu Luu commune, Ky Son district, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police, in coordination with the Police of Ky Son and Tuong Duong districts and the Drug Control and Prevention Team of the Provincial Customs Department, arrested Xong Ba Gio for illegal transportation of drugs, seizing 2,000 synthetic drug pills.
According to the arresting force, Xong Ba Gio fiercely fought back against the police force. However, due to pre-prepared plans, the authorities quickly controlled and arrested Xong Ba Gio to ensure safety.
It is known that Xong Ba Gio is the younger brother of Xong Ba Tenh - the subject who was arrested by Tuong Duong District Police in July 2017 for illegally transporting 20 heroin cakes. Xong Ba Tenh was sentenced to death by the court.
