Currently, relevant departments still want Anh Vien to withdraw her decision, to compete until the end of SEA Games 31 in May 2022 in Vietnam.
During her 10-year career at the top, the swimmer from Can Tho has won 25 SEA Games gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal at the Asian Games, two bronze medals at the Asian Games, along with a Youth Olympic gold medal, a World Military Games gold medal, and a World Cup silver medal... On TT Plus, reporter Liang Ximing shared: "Chinese football has saved face. This match is related to the position of the Chinese team in Group B of the 3rd qualifying round of the World Cup. U22 Vietnam begins training in UAE
After a direct flight from Hanoi, U22 Vietnam arrived in Dubai at 4:30 a.m. on October 8 (local time).
In the UAE, the U22 Vietnam team will be staying at the Gulf Court Hotel, located about 20 minutes by bus from the airport, close to the training site. During their training here, the U22 Vietnam team will play two friendly matches with U22 Tajikistan (October 11) and U22 Kyrgyzstan (October 17) at The Sevens Dubai Stadium.
Before leaving Hanoi, the U22 Vietnam coaching staff had reduced the list to 21 players. The team will be reinforced with 5 players currently on duty with the national team in the third qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup, namely Nguyen Van Toan, Nguyen Thanh Binh, Bui Hoang Viet Anh, Le Van Xuan and Ly Cong Hoang Anh.

This group, along with coach Park Hang-seo, doctor Choi Ju-young and team leader Doan Anh Tuan, will return to the UAE to join the U22 Vietnam team after the match between Vietnam and Oman on October 12.
