At noon on November 20th, leaders of the People's Committee of Dinh Son commune, Anh Son district, Nghe An province, stated that the aforementioned incident occurred in Bai Say village, Dinh Son commune.
According to sources, at approximately 11:00 AM on November 19th, the Dinh Son Commune Police received a report from four households in Bai Say Hamlet, Dinh Son Commune, Anh Son District (Nghe An Province) regarding a mass fish kill that occurred simultaneously in their adjacent fish ponds.suspected poisoning.
Upon receiving the information, the leaders of Anh Son District Police directed the Criminal, Economic, and Narcotics Investigation Team to coordinate with Dinh Son Commune Police, the Procuratorate, and other relevant units to conduct a scene investigation and verify the facts.
"The number of dead fish in the four lakes is over 1.3 tons. Currently, authorities are taking samples and sending them to the Institute of Criminal Science for analysis. The police investigation agency of Dinh Son district is verifying and clarifying the incident," said the leader of Dinh Son commune People's Committee.
