“If the head of the Inspection sector cannot strictly handle negative cases that the people are concerned about, it is clear that he cannot meet the people’s requirements, demands and expectations. The efforts of the head of the Inspection sector will contribute to creating more trust among the people in the Party and the State,” said Mr. Le Thanh Van.
According to this delegate, in executive activities, it is very easy for violations of the law, negativity, abuse of power, and profiteering to occur. Therefore, good internal control, control within the executive agency and the administrative system is an extremely important issue.
Therefore, the head of the Inspectorate is required to, on the one hand, control well the law enforcement situation of the entire system. In addition, based on the assigned authority, he/she must develop a plan and program for the entire term, select social issues of concern, and issues of public concern to be resolved.
“You also have to rectify discipline and law within the inspection agency itself. It can be said that the pressure on the head of the inspection sector in the current context is extremely great. You have to solve a series of problems, including having to resonate with the Party agencies,” emphasized delegate Le Thanh Van.
Recently, the Central Inspection Committee has performed its duties very well, and to resonate, the Inspection sector must also take drastic action and speed up the resolution of complicated inspection cases that are receiving public attention.
“In addition to having to keep up with the “beat” of the Party and society, the Government Inspectorate, through its activities, must further strengthen the Government. That means the activities of the Government Inspectorate must regularly help the Government and the Prime Minister purify the apparatus to be truly honest, creative, and developing as the Prime Minister's message at the beginning of his term” – Mr. Le Thanh Van said./.
