(Baonghean.vn) - Currently, a tropical depression is active over the sea off the coast of central Philippines.

At 2 PM on September 30th, the center of the tropical depression was located at approximately 12.0 degrees North latitude and 129.8 degrees East longitude, about 500km east of the central coast of the Philippines. The strongest winds near the center of the tropical depression were at level 6 (40 to 50 km per hour), with gusts at levels 7-8.

Forecast for the next 24 hours: The tropical depression will move in a west-northwest direction at a speed of 15-20 km/h and is expected to intensify. By 13:00 on October 1st, the center of the tropical depression will be located at approximately 13.5 degrees North latitude; 125.0 degrees East longitude, over the coastal waters of central Philippines. The strongest winds near the center of the tropical depression will be at force 6-7 (40-60 km/h), with gusts of force 8-9.

Weather in the North Central region: Currently, a cold front is moving southward from the north. It is forecast that this cold front will affect the Northern and North Central regions tomorrow evening and night (October 1st). Due to the influence of the cold front, from October 2nd onwards, the provinces in the North Central region will experience scattered rain, showers, and thunderstorms.
