With strong gusts of wind at level 7-8, moving mainly in a north-northeast direction at about 5km per hour, the tropical depression is currently located approximately 660km northeast of the Hoang Sa archipelago (Vietnam), according to the Central Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting Center.

At 13:00 on June 13th, the center of the tropical depression was located at approximately 20.1 degrees North latitude and 117.0 degrees East longitude, about 660km northeast of the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands. The strongest winds near the center of the tropical depression were at level 6 (39-49 km/h), with gusts at levels 7-8.

Forecast for the next 24 hours: The tropical depression will move mainly in a north-northeast direction, traveling at approximately 5 km per hour, and is likely to intensify further. By 13:00 on June 14th, the center of the tropical depression will be located at approximately 21.6 degrees North latitude; 117.6 degrees East longitude; about 810 km northeast of the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands. The strongest winds near the center of the tropical depression will increase to level 6-7 (39-61 km/hour), with gusts up to level 8-9.

Due to the influence of the tropical depression, the northeastern part of the East Sea is experiencing strong swirling winds of force 6-7, gusting to force 8-9, with very rough seas. Wave heights are approximately 4-6 meters, posing a significant danger to ships.

Furthermore, due to the strong southwest monsoon, the sea area from Binh Thuan province to Ca Mau, the central and southern parts of the East Sea, including the sea areas around the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos (Vietnam), will experience strong winds of force 5-6, gusting to force 7-8, with heavy rain and thunderstorms. The sea will be rough, and during thunderstorms, be wary of possible tornadoes, strong gusts of wind, and lightning strikes.
