Raid on porridge shop to catch soccer betting ring

Previously, at 0:40 on July 3, based on information from the people, Nghia Hanh District Police (Quang Ngai) raided and inspected the porridge shop of Mr. Phan Thanh Tung (born in 1983), in Phu Khuong village, Hanh Tin Tay commune, Nghia Hanh district.

The subjects were caught red-handed betting on football at a porridge shop.

Here, the authorities caught Nguyen Van Duong (born in 1988) and 10 others gambling on the football match between Spain and Switzerland at EURO 2020.

At the scene, police seized 18 million VND, 12 cell phones, 13 motorbikes and other tools used for football betting.

Currently, the case is being further verified and handled by Nghia Hanh District Police according to regulations.
