Apple slowly but surely, confidently confronting Samsung
Apple's new smartphone doesn't have many significant upgrades, but it is a solid step for them on the way to dominating the smartphone market, compared to Samsung's eagerness to break through.
Many technology enthusiasts have noticed that the iPhone has been slow to innovate and has become less attractive in recent years. However, the recent incident related to the Galaxy Note 7 proves that Apple is slow but steady. Despite the competition in the mobile industry for configuration and technology, Tim Cook has still skillfully steered Apple in a slow and steady manner.

The high-end smartphone segment is almost a two-horse race between Apple and Samsung. |
Like previous Apple models, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7s do not bring revolutionary technology. In fact, for the past three years, the American technology company has barely changed the design, and the only new thing that the 2016 iPhone has done is add a black version, "revived" from the iPhone 3G, 3GS.
The improvements are mostly internal, with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus getting a more powerful Apple A10 processor and slightly longer battery life. The camera, on the other hand, has taken a big step forward with dual cameras, but only on the 5.5-inch model. But no matter how boring they are, Apple has no more phones to sell.
On the other side of the "front line", Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 7 and received a lot of positive feedback. However, "disaster" struck when this model was said to be the cause of dozens of fires and explosions. Analysts said that the Korean company was trying to gather the most advanced technology in the new product, but it was somewhat hasty.
Samsung decided to release a new smartphone early, which it was confident would captivate users. The company also urged its partners to transfer components and technology on time. As a result, the Galaxy Note 7 was launched earlier than the iPhone 7, with a high-resolution screen, a "sexy" curved edge design, a retina sensor, a larger battery and fast charging. With the Note 7, no one will say Samsung is a "copycat" of Apple.
The new phablet from the Korean manufacturer comes to users with a 3,500 mAh battery, up from 3,000 mAh compared to the previous model. This capacity is 20% more than the 2,900 mAh battery on the iPhone 7 Plus and notably, both batteries on these two device lines are manufactured by Samsung SDI.
The fast charging feature is also a plus point of the Galaxy Note 7 that the iPhone does not have. Thanks to that, the company has attracted many customers to choose Samsung products and partly achieved its ambition. However, the high capacity battery and fast charging may be the reason why the Galaxy Note 7 had an explosion problem.
When it was launched, users and the technology world both highly appreciated the Note 7 thanks to a series of improvements. Meanwhile, Apple did not meet expectations due to its conservatism and slow upgrades to the iPhone 7. But in terms of business, the results were reversed. Apple's stock is currently at its highest level of the year, while Samsung's battery problem will have a long-term impact.
